mjrt offers funding for septic pump-out in some localities.

The Middle James Roundtable provides financial assistance to residents in Buckingham County or Chesterfield County to pump out their septic systems. Regular maintenance of septic system reduces the likelihood of failure and reduces bacteria impairments in the James River Watershed.

​Eligible residents can receive a $250 reimbursement after completing a pump-out with a licensed contractor.
